RIDGEDALE, Mo. -- Jay Haas will be going to the Presidents Cup for the fourth straight time, and this time hell be giving the speeches. The PGA Tour selected Haas to be the U.S. captain for the 2015 matches in South Korea in what amounts to a role reversal. After three years as an assistant captain to Fred Couples -- all three U.S. victories -- Haas will in charge and Couples will be his assistant. Nick Price was selected to return as captain for an International team that has one only once since this event began 20 years ago. "I didnt really aspire to be a captain -- never thought that would be in the cards for me," Haas said. "But being involved with the last three teams along with Fred ... maybe thought someday that could happen. Theres so many people who are deserving of this seat right here. I just feel like Im very blessed to be sitting here representing the United States. And hopefully, I wont screw this thing up too badly." Couples had been captain three straight times, twice opposite Greg Norman and last year against Price at soggy Muirfield Village. The Americans won, 18 1/2-15 1/2, to remain unbeaten at home. The International teams only win was in 1998 at Melbourne. The teams tied in 2003 in South Africa. Haas played in the inaugural Presidents Cup in 1994, and was a captains pick for the 2003 team. The Presidents Cup will be Oct. 8-11, 2015, at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea, the first time it has been held in Asia. The only continent where it has not been played (among those with players eligible for the International team) is in South America. Price called last year a "learning experience" and was happy to get another chance. "I just want to thank the players who were on the team last year because without them, I dont think Id be sitting here again," he said, adding that PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem polled the players "so I must have done something right." Price appointed K.J. Choi of South Korea to be his vice captain. Choi played on three teams, but not since 2011. 19:38ET 04-06-14 Air Force 1 Pas Cher France . The Raptors second-year forward has been one of the primary beneficiaries of the early-season trade, breaking out and becoming a vital part of his teams success on both ends of the floor. Around the league, teams are starting to take notice and feature Ross more predominately in their pre-game scouting reports but its not just the opposition that hes impressing. Air Max 90 Pas Cher Femme .C. -- Marcus Paige and his North Carolina teammates have endured so many wild swings -- big wins, surprising losses, NCAA drama -- that no one can blame their Hall of Fame coach for wondering whats next. http://www.pascherbasketnike.fr/france-air-force-1-solde.html .com) - The Vancouver Canucks hope an upcoming stretch of home games will be enough to get the club into the postseason. Vapormax France . Bjoergen pulled away from Swedens Charlotte Kalla on the final straight to win in 38 minutes, 33.6 seconds and defend her title from the 2010 Vancouver Games. Kalla was 1.8 seconds back. Heidi Weng of Norway took bronze. Fausse Yeezy 700 Pas Cher . Cruz set the tone with a two-run homer in the first inning, and Baltimore scored eight times in the eighth to pull away for a 12-3 victory in Game 1. The major league leader with 40 homers during the regular season, Cruz added an RBI single to his early blast off Max Scherzer. The Hands-up. Dont shoot! gesture that five St. Louis Rams made during pregame wasnt the first time athletes have used their platform to make political statements.A short list of some of the most famous moments:—Tommie Smith and John Carlos: The most iconic moment of them all. American sprinters Smith and Carlos took to the medal stand at the Mexico City Olympics in 1968 and raised their gloved fists — the Black Power salute. It was a time of enormous racial tension in the United States, and the gesture was front-page news in hundreds of newspapers. The athletes were booed out of the stadium and expelled from the Olympics.—Obama Salute: Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall started to pull a black-and-white glove out of his shirt, designed to honour Barack Obama shortly after he was elected President in 2008. But a teammate stopped him, fearing he might draw a penalty.—Tebow Eyeblack: Not so much a political expression as a religious one. While at Florida, Tim Tebow liked to etch bible chapters into his eyeblack, a practice he couldnt continue in the NFL, which banned such expressions.—Los Suns: In response to the passing of a state law many saw as anti-Hispanic, the owner of the Phoenix Suns had his team wear their jerseys that said LLos Suns at a home game in 2010.dddddddddddd—LeBron, Heat and hoodies: LeBron James and Dwyane Wade got the Heat to pose for a team picture with all the players wearing hoodies, the same thing Trayvon Martin was wearing when he was shot to death in 2012.— Quenelle: Soccer player Nicolas Anelka was banned for five games for performing a gesture known in France as a quenelle — described as an inverted Nazi salute — during a game last year. He was later fired by his team, West Bromwich. Other soccer players, including Paolo Di Canio and Giorgos Katidis, have also been suspended for fascist salutes.—The Rams: During pregame introductions Sunday, Tavon Austin and Kenny Britt were joined by Jared Cook, Stedman Bailey and Chris Givens, all of whom raised their hands in a show of support for protesters in Ferguson, Missouri — a suburb of St. Louis. Last Monday, a grand jury there decided not to charge the white officer who fatally shot Michael Brown, who was black. Some witnesses said Brown had his hands up before being shot, although others disputed that. Brown had been unarmed. I dont want the people in the community to feel like we turned a blind eye to it, Britt said. What would I like to see happen? Change in America. ' ' '
