He didnt issue a walk and struck out three. “All of his pitches move a lot,” Vermilyea said of his starter. “There were a couple infield hits and bloopers that would have been nice to have been outs, but thats the way it goes sometimes.” Explorers reliever Alex Burnett worked three innings of scoreless relief to earn the win.
