Thats very interesting. It will seem like a lot of the game is obsolete by new gear and things coming in. Certainly agree with poster. RS3 has a great deal of dead material which you may skip past on a non ironman simply because it is not efficient. Ironman accounts may get a good deal of use in things that those balances jump. It is an excellent mode for anybody who likes constantly setting new goals and finding the best way to achieve them instead of sweating over cash farming.

At this point I think most osrs players are fine with rs3. They won't play it however they pretty much esteem it's distance and the men and women who play it.

I believe it's more likely to get review bombed by rs3 lovers when Jagex necessarily comes out with another update that screws up the whole match in some manner.

The MTX is overexaggerated in my opinion. Yes there are secrets you can use to open chests for useless cosmetics and a few XP, but in the future as soon as you get into bossing you'll forget all about it.

I recently got back into the match and it's basically a non issue. I really really like rs3.

Same came back after rebuilding my accounts on osrs and I am having a terrific time playing. So much new stuff and everything is really convenient now.

There certainly are bots (always have been, always will be), however the number of robots is considerably lower than it's been in the past, also in the event that you take into consideration the lower player count.
