When buying on RuneScape gold the market, I generally go approximately 5%-10% lower than moderate price. After that you can sell it once the purchase price rises for 5%-10% above, or you could come up with your "wholesale" cost, which will generally draw more focus from selling beyond the g.e.

If something doesn't buy/sell straight away, don't worry. If it doesn't buy, it's because you are buying under medium price, and just people who don't care/are desperate for cash sell under moderate. Generally, the item will purchase by the end of the day. If it does not sell, either it's an item that is not in high demand, which usually means you've chosen a bad item, or the price you've set is too high. I would not recommend taking the price down before a day or two after you have put up the offer. Bear in mind, merching does not happen over night; it require alot of patience.

I would recommend buying everything on the g.e.. If you're using raw materials like raw fish, logs, herbs, etc. I would sell on the street for a set cost per item. If you're selling anything else (essentially non-skilling items) then I would say sell it on the g.e.. It could take a while, but this really is the best that you can do, as it is more difficult to find someone looking for ten dragon platelegs than 2k nature runes.

When you are starting merching I'd recommend at least 10m or more. Some general advice: don't worry about losing money at first. It happens to most people. When I first started, I lost about 6m on the very first day. Just keep with it and you will come to comprehend the market and market of runescape better. I've stopped merching in favor of skilling, however it's a terrific, time-saving way to make decent money. Great luck! Well, at Level 74 I have 200 pursuit points, and I have been questing since level 15.

Materials to always stay near. Anyone who goes ahead. Well it is always great to have a great source of different potions and other materials such as ropes. Possessing a principal set of battle gear of every kind is great also. Like having dragon hide for bosses who have powerful mage attacks, and mage gear and runes for when you need cheap OSRS gold through some quests.
